Tara,
This is a common problem with this fridge and the fix is pretty easy. The real root cause is the thermostat in the fridge. Do not bother ordering another one, they are all wrong. So what you need to do is follow this simple instruction exactly.
1 remove the ice bin and set it aside
2 Behind the ice bin on the flat side of the inner door there are 4 painted phillips screws. Remove them using a magnetic screwdriver.
3 you can then carefully remove the ice maker housing. Before you can totally remove it you will need to unclip the two wires at the connector. It should be easily visible once you start to remove it.
4 once the housing is removed you will see s black firm water outlet in the middle top of the icemaker just above the white water ice tray.
5 with a standard hair dryer on the hot setting blow the hot air from the dryer down and behind that black tube where the water comes out. Give it a good blow. Sometime water comes dripping out and sometimes it lows back down the other way.
See if you can find an old sponge and put it around the outside of the area around the black water dispenser and try to keep cold air from getting back there and freezin you water tube. If not you will need to repeat this process. Save some insulation from a Amazon package about the size of the hole you saw and shape it next time. Also since the thermostat is wrong you need to set our thermostat on the fridge to (1) on the freezer and (2) on the fridge side.
When you unplugged the wires behind the ice maker you disconnected the ice maker causing it to reset. It will take about an hour for it to cycle through and i less than 2 hours you will know if you have been successful. If you do not have an icemaker out half full by morning repeat the process and give the hairdryer a little more time. Aim straight behind the little black pipe.
Good luck. You may have to do this again sometime depending on where you live. The harder a freezer has to work to freeze the ice, the more likely you are to have this problem
