During start of tv pictures get distorted n images starts flickering and later after 1-2 hrs of viewing it becomes stable..A thin straight line appears at d bottom.

You can get a complete set of replacement boards for less than 100 dollars at shopjimmy.com and as long as the screen is not damaged it should fix it they also sell backlight leds

@ricky23 what is the exact model of your TV? What have you checked? Did anything happen to the TV prior to this?

Sony bravia..Nothing happened as such before.It started showing this issue for the past 6 months

@ricky23 there should be a label on the back of the TV with the exact model number. We do need that....;-)
