Attached keyboard no longer works post battery change.

Recently changed the battery in iPad Pro 9.7. Prior to repair the Logitech keyboard would connect to the attachment assembly and work. After the repair it will still magnetically attach, but will not operate. I also do detect voltage (.5v) across the “dots” on the ipad so it seems it is connecting properly to the battery.

I tried a different keyboard, no joy, and I even replaced the smart accessory assembly. I tried it on another iPad and it works. So I tried another battery, in case the battery had a defective connector for that part.

It’s definitely not my first time changing iPad batteries and took all proper precautions for ESD. Anyone else run into this issue with this model iPad or a similar one?
