It will basically depend on if you tryed to fly it immediately after it being in the water and how much water for into the actual motors and in the electronics. If you allowed it to dry good before turning it back on the. You might get lucky because I would assume that drones do have some sort of water resistance!

Have you removed the batteries? Opened it up to clean out any water that got inside? The longer the water sits in it, the greater the chance of corrosion.
