install tiger o.s. on brand new installed hard drive

hi,i just installed a 160 gig samsung hard drive in my 667mhz 15 in PowerBook g4,i have the install disc in the drive, the computer sees the new hard drive but now im kinda stuck,where exactly do i go from here to format the drive and so i can get the g4 up and running??Thanks...

Einstellungen

Looks like you've booted from the system installation CD. On the second page of the install you should see Utilities at the top of the page. Pull down the Disk Utilities. Click on the icon of the new hard drive and format the disk as OS extended . Go to partitions and set to one partition. Now you can install the new system.
