I have the same issue power light is on but steam light ready is not on. Took it apart and there is no resistance on the element. (120v at all connections). Thinking the element gave out. Thoughts ?

@lefttape if your heating element shows no resistance at all it will not work. Sounds like a bad element. It should be around 10Ω to 12Ω
