Without more info, it could be a bad battery, a bad charger, a bad power socket, or a bad charging board/circuit.
The laptop should run with just the charger. If not check charger, socket, motherboard. If it runs, check/replace battery

Hi @nilsarg,
What is the model number of the laptop as shown on the information label on the bottom of the laptop?
This is so that if any replacement parts are required then the correct ones can be found
