Orange led blinking red

So my friend has a Wii that I am trying to fix. And right now it is in pieces and before we took it apart when you plugged it in the power led went red if you pressed it nothing would happen. Now what does is when you plug it in the led turns orange but when you press it blinks red and then goes back to orange. I have found nothing on the internet about this and need help from more Nintendo nerds or tech guys. Thank you.
