Flex drawer on Samsung refrigerator.

Flex drawer temp. can not be regulated, stays at about 25degrees regardless of which button you push. I have replaced both sensors to no avail. My next guess is that there may be a motorized damper of some sort that may be the problem but I havent found detailed drawings to see how to get to it, or if there is such a thing.

Hi,

Did you mean RF4267HARS/XAA?

If so here's the fast track troubleshooting guide for the model.

It has the wiring diagram which shows the connections for the flex zone room (flex drawer?) damper motor and heater

If you find the problem and it is a faulty part, here's a supplier that may help.

Find the faulty part in the supplier's list of parts for the model and then it will show you the manufacturer's part number e.g. part #DAxx-xxxxxx. Search online using the manufacturer's part number only to then find suppliers that suit you best.

Hi,

If you have a DMM (digital multimeter) you can use its Ohmmeter function to check if the components in the flex tray damper control i.e. 2 x motor winding and 1 x heater are electrically OK back to the mainboard.

Disconnect the cable that is connected to connector CN77 on the mainboard and then connect the Ohmmeter as shown in the image below to the harness cable plug - not the mainboard connector

Connecting where the red arrows point will test the "A" motor winding, the green arrows will test the "B" motor winding and the blue arrows the heater.

Even if the motor windings test OK that doesn't mean that the damper is mechanically operating OK or that the problem isn't in the mainboard

I'm sure the information will be helpful once I learn how to decipher it. Being a rookie, it will take while. I have replaced the fridge so I will have time. Thanks
