Can you replace one of the clips on logic board.

One of the snap down clips that hold the touchscreen ribbon cable on logic board sockets came off and I can't seem the snap it back on. They are supposed to snap up to remove the touchscreen from the ipad 2. When I tried to connect the ribbon cable back, one snapped down and the other snapped off.Now I don't know if the cable will make a good connection. What should I do?
