My phone would vibrate when I press the power button but it won't on

When it did turn on the minute i tried to use it i can't, but i did manage to type in my password. But when it opened it won't work properlyfor some reason. When i tried to turn it off(not power off) to see if it'll fix the lag it didn't turn on again. What's happening?
