Finger prints biometrics is not working after new screen replacement

Can you guess what could be a possible reason that biometrics fingerprints are not working after a new screen replacement?

We tried to reset the phone also, but it still did not work.

Could be a problem with the connector or not seated properly. Open it up again and disconnect it and check the cable for damage. Also the connector and board connector for damage or dirt. If nothing reconnect it and try it again. I've done loads of s10 series screen replacements and never had a issue with the sensor.
