Device stuck in Bootloop after display replacement.

TLDR: iPhone XS stuck in bootloop after LCD-Screen replacement, Original screen (OLED) still boots up properly.

Hi,

Unfortunately my original screen just stopped working one day (no physical damage), so I tried to replace it with an LCD from the iFixit store. Unfortunately, after connecting everything, I found that the iPhone couldn't boot up properly because it was stuck in a bootloop. I tried to remedy it through various tips, like restarting, reconnecting, trying it without connecting Earpiece Speaker and Front Sensor Assembly among other things. Unfortunately nothing worked. To test if I accidentally shorted something I reconnected my original display which was able to boot up without any issues. iFixit was then kind enough to send me a replacement screen to try it again, but unfortunately I encountered the same problems again, only this time it was a little hard to see it since the screen remained very dark. Again reconnecting my original display showed that it still boots up, and is not entirely broken.

Does anyone have any tips on how to remedy this? Might the problem be the LCD-Screen. I thought they were supposed to work seamlessly as an alternative, but maybe it will only work with an OLED-screen?

I would be very grateful for any help. Just let me know if more information is necessary.

Try another screen from another supplier or visit a repair shop and see if one of their screens works.
