2011 iMac power supply

Because I have heard that people have taken it to apple to get it fixed and when get it back home, it has other problems like fingerprints inside the screen, the screen has yellow spots or apple just doesn't hear anything and doesn't fix it. It's easy to replace and i would just to do slow and carefully.

Apple's service is one of the best in the business. If your local ASP doesn't, Apple needs to know. If the screen has spots, have them replace it. Anyway I would address those concerns with the manager when you take it in. If you do the replacement, you potentially void your warranty.

I for got to mention that I called apple few days ago and I couldnt go through a service guy to ask a question about it because I don't have apple care so I just talk with a representative that was offering the apple care so that I could go through to talk with a service guy but I asked the representive tht there was a noise coming from the top left corner and he said thts a hardware problem and that I need to purchase apple care because the warranty does not cover hardware problmens , and he said only option was too take it to apple store and they just check it to see what's wrong but that I would have to pay for them just to check it and pay if it's something wrong with it but I said I have warranty but he said buy apple care and you will be taken care of.

The first year your machine is covered for any hardware problem. This does not cover software issues. AppleCare extends the warranty for an additional two years. I don't think your communication with the Apple rep was working well.

Yeah it wasn't. I'm going to call apple store and make an appointment, hopefully they will hear the sound and fix it, Because I've read apple threads on faulty power supply board buzzing sound and people take it to apple but service guys don't hear anything, but thanks for ur info
