I replaced the HDD with an SSD for a customer but now the screen has a big stripe in it..
Is it broken? If i press on different spots on the lcd it doesnt change. I tried refitting the lcd cable but it sits snug.
Could it be a cable or something or should i buy a new display?
Ive been really carefull with it but something went wrong.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

I fear you managed to cut one of the LCD ribbon cables from the T-CON board. That can happen when using too long a tool to cut through the tape. Sadly, it’s time for a new display unit as patching the fine copper traces is not easy!
