I am a student that participated in my local science experimentation. I am really interested how the ring camera works or what is the specific hardware used for it to work ,if legally possible i would like to know what is the exact hardware used or just similar hardware that would give me the same results just like the ring camera

Hi!
Basically a motherboard with everything on it without storage.
It probably uses a power saving CPU with a simple instruction set.
It does have some ram memory on it and a WiFi chip and a BIOS/firmware IC. The first board do have the camera attached to it which also can be replaced. The 2nd board does have all the components on it.
The camera footage is stored in the cloud. You can use live view, but the snapshots or saved video's are saved to Ring it's cloud servers.
The motherboard and all components on it are feed through the battery. There is an antenna in it for more WiFi range and the camera sensor also. There is a speaker in it and a mic below the motherboard. Some IC's on the motherboard are controlling the sound and microphone part.
