Why is my laptop not turn on when pressing power button?
My laptop screen shows battery life, but system not turning on when i pressing the power botton

Do any of the LED indicators come on when you press the power button?
How is your screen showing battery life?
Based on above it could be a dead HDD, dead processor, bad power button or circuit.
To test the HDD, take the HDD out and connect it to another computer via USB - you need an adapter for this.
A CPU is harder to verify and the power button or circuit is also technical.
