why do i hear a slight rakling noise when i make a turn either in the right or in the left

Check your power steering reservoir; either the vehicles power steering pump is letting your know it's dying or you have no/not enough fluid. Alternatively if it only happens while driving you may have a chaffing issue where your wheels are rubbing on something.
