Do I need to use adhesive strips plus adhesive on the LCD?

I'm replacing a cracked screen, and am about to reassemble the iPad. Where I'm confused is that the repair package included both iPad mini 5 Screen and iPad mini 5 Adhesive Strips, but the screen itself looks to have adhesive strips on it. Should I still install them on the iPad mini main body?
