i can’t login can’t see the desktop can’t do anything i’ve tried all the resetting codes nothing seems to be working. there is a longer black part after taking the bottom of the laptop apart that seems to be pretty hot not sure if that would be the cause of my screen not working

This sounds like a failed display, either due to impact damage or due to a failed display board. In either case, you'll likely need to replace the display assembly to resolve the issue. Alternatively, you could disconnect the internal display and just use the laptop with an external monitor. If you just need access to your data, you could connect the device to another computer using a Thunderbolt cable and Target Disk Mode. Good luck!

Best to seek out someone with deeper knowledge on how to fix MacBook Pro’s. This might not be repairable or just too expensive to repair.
