2 TV Speaker only works when hooked up to laptop
Our tv worked fine switched providers and no sound from tv needs to use external Bluetooth speaker. TRIED resetting tv, preferences etc. Even hooking up a sound bar directly no sound. Switched providers again and still no sound (was thinking it was a box issue). Last night hooked up computer via same hdmi (that is hooked up to cable box) and sound works amazingly from tv. Very confused on this

What is the model number of the TV and the make and model number of the box?
Did you try resetting the box to factory default and set it up again when you switched providers?

originally we were with rogers switched to Bell and now back to rogers and it’s a brand new box. Model number is WE50UL3019

Seems like there's a compatibility problem between the box and the TV.
Since the TV works OK when connected to a PC using the same TV HDMI input port check what audio settings (if any - e.g. avr) are available in the box.
What is the make and model number of the box, you didn't say?

it is a rogers box and it says model TX 061AE1 or an L

Can't any find info on the Rogers website, re the box (either model number) so try searching through the box settings menus for a factory reset option and check if doing that resolves the problem.
I don't think that the problem is in the TV as there was TV audio when connected to a PC using the same TV HDMI input and presumably the same HDMI cable.
