@inesm you most likely have a bad charging port. Looks like it is a micro USB port. Bad part on this is that we need to find out how to disassemble your ereader and then we need to find a replacement port. The port gives me less of a headache then the disassembly. Let's see what we can find out.

Remove the battery, then remove the ribbon cables for the screen as well After that remove what appears like 4 Philips screws that hold the motherboard to the case. You most likely can now remove the motherboard. Measure the port and let's see if we can find a replacement that fits from places like mouser.com or digikey.com and many others. You will need to de-solder the old port and then solder the new port in it's place.

While you work on your ereader, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
