I replaced my screen around 12 hours ago and my phone keeps freezing up every 30 or so seconds and lasts from 2 seconds to 1 minute and a half. The longer the phone is frozen the more visible these colored bars are. After a minute the bars are fully opaque. What can I do to fix this and what did I do wrong?

Can you provide more details about the phone's original condition? Is there any history of liquid or physical damage? Are any other parts of the device broken and exposed, such as the rear cameras or back glass?
Did you source the part from iFixIt.com or somewhere else? Were you having these issues prior to the screen replacement? I'm not sure if you have a display tester, but that could be something reputable to use to confirm if it's a display or device issue.
Ultimately, I'd try another part and see if you have the same issues. But I need more background on the device.
