Sim card detected but no service/emergency calls only
So this came randomly my sim was working fine yesterday but when I woke up out of nowhere I saw the service bar jump from service to no service and back to service but I couldn't get data and do calls when I do have service and so far I have replaced my sim, tried another provider and the factory reset my phone but still nothing so currently I have no idea what could be the issue unless it's a hardware issue

When there is service how many signal bars are being shown i.e. 1←→5?
If 1 bar or more is showing when it works and then none it may be a hardware problem.
If none when it works and then it doesn't work, it may be the location of the phone or perhaps some strong electrical or physical interference that is preventing the signal being received by the phone with sufficient strength.
Go to Sect. 8-4-27. GSM 850/900, WCDMA B5/8, LTE B5/8/12/13/14/17/18/19/20/26/28 RX on p.85 (of 102 pdf) and follow the flowchart to see how far you get.
Use the search function in your browser to find the locations of the components mentioned in the flowchart on the board layout diagrams in the manual. (You will have to zoom in a lot to find them)
If you find a faulty component that needs replacing, there's a parts list as well. Search online for Samsung (insert wanted part number) to find suppliers.

the day before it stopped working it hadn't been dropped but it was raining but not a lot but its in a case and if it has service and I try to call it shows not registered on network even though the sim works on my tab s9 but what might have happened is when I got the charging port repaired the connector hadn't been correctly plugged in so it might have unplugged so on Friday I'm going to that repair shop and they are going to have a look if that's the problem
Was it working OK after the charge port was repaired and then it failed or not since it was repaired?
Why was the charge port repair necessary?
Check the status of the LDI (liquid damage indicator) in the phone just to verify whether water has penetrated the phone or not.
If it does indicate that water has been there then given that the LDI is under the SIM card tray that may be the reason for the problem.
I think that some of the antennas may be on the charge port board, so if it wasn't connected properly that may also be a possibility although you'd think that there's be other symptoms as well i.e. charging problems, data transfer problems etc
