There's a pretty good chance we can figure out how to fix your Kindle's power switch, but we'll need to know exactly which model you have; the device page shows us at least 31 different models that can all be called a Kindle Fire.

That being said, the main page there does show a guide to replacing the Power Button Board on a(n original?) Kindle Fire. This might be something that could help.
