Is there a guide on how to replace the Type-C charging port/connector?

By the time you buy all the necessary equipment, if you haven't already got it i.e. temperature controlled soldering iron, hot air gun, soldering flux paste, solder wick and solder and gain the necessary expertise to use them, (it's not easy for beginners due to the close spacing on the connections) it would be a lot easier, quicker and cheaper to replace the charge port board in the phone and not just remove/replace the USB-C port connector.

Alternatively here's a teardown video that shows how to remove the charge port board from the phone. Replacing it would be reversing the procedure to removing it. Go to 3:34 minutes into the video to see the charge board being removed from the phone. You don't have to remove all of the parts, just those necessary to remove the charge port board. Disconnect the battery as soon as you can after opening the phone to prevent any unwanted electrical problems from occurring whilst removing components

You would have to remove the board anyway if you were going to remove/replace the USB-C connector only, so that you have enough area to work on the board without accidentally damaging anything else in the phone.
