I just made this forum for this laptop, to ask a question, My laptop suddenly stopped working when I was clean the ram slot, while cleaning I did see a small spark right above the battery under the ram slots, even though it was power off and battery removed.
I plugged everything back in and only life I could see was the keyboard turning on then off again, and the fans spinning

@youssefashraf It looks like the arching originates from your PR317. Your image has already been zoomed in which makes it appears slightly fuzzy but it looks like the solder pads are definitely not what they should be. I would replace that component. It is a 0.01 oHm 1% resistor in a 1206 package. If you check the schematic provided by @jayeff you see that this resistor is for the charge controller PU301 circuitry which could be the reason for your computer not turning on. Check PQ317 and PQ316 for any damage and power.

So the damage is in the middle like if the power rails aren’t damaged it’s minimal, and only needs soldering, cuz I’m sending it tomorrow to someone.

Here's the NM C361 Schematic which I think is for your motherboard. The motherboard model number is shown on the board itself if you wish to verify.
The area you posted an image of is on p.58 (search for PL103) and also p.59 (search for PR317).
The spark may have come from the capacitors connected near to PL103 and PL104, discharging. The same for PR317.
As for why it doesn't start, you may have to check each of the power rails to find out if all the voltage supplies in the laptop are there and are OK. See p.3-p.4

I don’t have multimeter, but I think my laptop (ChatGPT and a 2019 forum) is in Short protection mode, that’s why it doesn’t turn on, and it does charge but a weird burnt metallic smell is coming out (The smell came after the first guy who tried to fix it)
Without a multimeter it will be very difficult unless you can see something is obviously damaged e.g.burnt looking.
Also it doesn't have to be in the area you posted the image of

If the RAM reseating and power reset don’t work, it’s leaning toward hardware damage (likely the motherboard or RAM slot).

The ram ain’t the issue it was removed while I was cleaning. I reopened it today, and removed the battery and made sure to press the power button but it sparked again in the same area and I made sure the laptop still had life (It beeped, and charging port light turned on, and the keyboard still lights up) so I’m asking is it fixable like removing and resoldering a new IC or mosfet chip or I just get a new laptop

How long did you press and hold the Power button operated when the battery was disconnected from the motherboard?
If <20 seconds try again and hold it for at least 30+ seconds. Sometimes it takes a little longer to fully drain the motherboard of any residual power

I think it was maybe a minute I was following a tutorial on how to clean your laptop and I’m happy to upload a picture where the spark happened

@youssefashraf mark the area on an image and post that with your Question. that way we can at least try to identify which circuit is doing the sparking. Also, you may need to identify the exact model for your motherboard. There will be a number printed on the board but it is on the keyboard side of things. That way we can try and find the schematics for the board.
