Passenger side in the bottom of motor a plug melted need to replace it
Need to know if this is the alternator or starter. Possible sensor plug

The alternator has a pulley connected with the engine's serpentine belt so that when the engine is on, the belt turns the alternator.
There's no belt used to turn the starter motor. It's an electric motor, powered by the battery to turn the engine when first starting it.
