The slide tubes have seized. I left the unit in the rain.
How do I take the linear bearings apart to free them up and lubricate them?

I would try polishing the tubes with 2000 grit or finer wet/dry sandpaper. When you have as much of the tubes cleaned as can be reached I would the spray penetrating oil such as WD40 into the bearings. let it sit a while and try moving the saw. You may need to tap the slide to break it loose. Do so gently using a hammer and a block of wood. If you get it to move you can then clean the exposed rust. Finally, I would oil the bearings with a light oil. Slide the saw back and forth wiping the oil off the tubes regularly. Excess oil will attract saw dust and dirt and will gum up the works.
If disassembly is required you should be able to find an exploded diagram of the saw online to guide you.

Thankyou. I set the saw on its side so the spray had to run into the tube seals, then sprayed WD40 on the seals repeatedly. Eventually the tubes started to slide again. I haven't had to disassemble yet.
