Assuming you did not forget to connect the combo SLI/IR cable as seen in Step 13 in this guide Mac mini Ende 2012 Logic Board austauschen or the logic board connector is not damaged then you will need to carefully unglue the dual SLI/IR sensor & cable unit from the housing using a heat gun to soften the glue, hopefully you are able to replace the LED or just replace the housing Mac Mini Main Case/Housing Unit

@sandy90785 - I don't understand, was the cable disconnected, or is the connector damaged?
Hi Dan yes I've roughly disconnected the connector so would like to snip off {perhaps} Black, Red, Black leaving just the lon/off LED
to be (attempted to be) connected e.g. {perhaps} White & Black!?

@sandy90785 - Sadly the connector was pulled off the logic board. Do you still have it?
