Possible reasons are:
Hardware and software issues
Loose and faulty battery also cause a laptop to shut down.
CPU or GPU may be overheating

Are you able to bootup and login?
Have you tried going into the BIOS and running the onboard diagnostics?
Press <F10> or <Esc> as computer is starting up.
Are you able to hear the fan spinning?
