Why is my scan maximum 300 in menu when specs list 1200? I can only choose a maximum of 300 although the specifications state I should have 1200 available. I also have only 2 file format choices when there should be around 6?

Check that the latest HP drivers for the printer are installed in your computer and not that they're just generic drivers provided by the computer's operating system i.e. Windows, MacOS or Linux.
