To dry out a display really needs a bit of heat to force evaporation. But you don't want to cook the whole system! Then I would take a hair dryer and a cardboard box which the display can fit into to help contain the heat. Placing the display assembly on some blocks to raise it off the table placing the box over it to figure out where the hair dryer nozzle will fit so the air flows both under and over the display, cut a hole into the box so it's reasonably close. Now on the other side along the far wall make a hole about one and a half times larger for the air to exit. Set the hair dryer at low heat (you may want to get a remote cooking thermometer so you can watch the temp of the display. Check often! You should be able to place your hand on the display without it hurting and hopefully in no time the water will have evaporated with little damaged.

If you are unsure of your skills you may want to find someone who can help you. There are a lot of little screws and some of the parts are delicate and can be damaged in the process.
