I understand I need T3, T5 and T8 screw heads to remove all the screws in order to place 8T SSD card in a Mac Mini Pro 2025.
I understand TR8 means something else, not the same, but I can't find a tool kit that has all the screw heads I need. Any tips on which toolkit I should buy.

Yes it can be confusing! T is for Torx, TR is Torx with R for restricted (security), basically a variation of the screw that prevents access to the insides. There is a pin molded in the heads hollow preventing a normal Torx screwdriver from entering. A TR Screwdriver will fit both the normal and restricted versions of the screw.

Many thanks Dan, for your prompt reply. I had a feeling the TR8 screw head unscrews T8 heads and yes it can be confusing. I'm amazed there are so many different screw heads, have no idea why. I would have thought the fewer, the better. Why can't companies standardise on fewer, not 30 versions.
@john88204 - There's lots of reasons we have so many screw types from the simple slot types to modern ones designed for robotic assembly (Torx)!
As well as engineers trying to outdo the previous versions. And companies trying to limit access to the internals for both hiding what's inside as well as safety!
