My ui buttons don’t work in certain apps in certain orientations

I’m fixing my friends iPad Pro 11 inch 1st gen that had a cracked screen. I replaced the screen using the guide. I didn’t have adhesive glue, i tried using crazy glue to secure the LiDAR sensor.

In portrait mode for example in the camera app, the UI buttons aren’t responsive, but in landscape mode, it is. In landscape mode in other apps the UI buttons at the top of the screen aren’t responsive.

I'm thinking that it’s an issue on the right side specifically I would love any suggestion, solutions to this challenge I am having
