When connected to power source, power button goes red and then dims

Just happened today, was working last night but does not now. Seems to keep power for like a second until dimming and becoming unusable. I am using a fat model. Any help would be appreciated

Hi!

So, also the power button stops working? Are you able to get the Playstation on?

If yes, you might want to replace the power and eject button together with the ribbon cable.

If not, then you might want to check or replace the power supply!

For now it's just testing to see which part is failing, or failed.
