Howdy there Joel,
iFixit does have a guide explaining how to fix liquid damamage, all be it for iPhone, but the steps are transferable, and a wiki for electronics water damage. The gist of it is that you will need to open the device up and clean up any liquid damage with isopropyl alcohol (90% or greater), and you'll likely need to replace the battery if their is significant damage.
