@daniellampert it is possible that there was more damage then just the screen. What you are describing sounds more like a power issue then anything else. Now, I recall there was some "mumbling" about battery serialization, by being paired with the display. There are still no concrete statements out for this but the repair community has been "mumbling " about it for a while. I wonder if the new display is causing this.

You could always try something like this. Or use software like Chimera to see if you can remove/change this "lock". Just came across something called "Sigma" which might be of some help for this as well. It's not cheap, so see what you can find out. Hope something like this will work for you.

Of course, you also want to check that everything went together okay. Check you charging board as well as the flex cable from the charging board to the main board. Check that for some tears or other damage.
