Hi, I bought this broken phone and on disassembly found the issue for it not working - It is missing part of the motherboard's main connector. Is it an easy repair or should just forget about it? Thank you!

@joaosilva89809 definitely not an easy repair. You will need to have the right tools, like a hot air rework station to de-solder the old connector. Then you need to re-solder a new connector. All that without accidentally removing any other components. These boards are tightly packed so it'll be a bit complicated.
That is not to say it can’t be done. It will just all depend on your experience and what tools you have available. You can most certainly go-ahead and try it since you can’t use the board as is anyway. If you get it fixed, great for you and if you do not you are no further behind then you are now and would have to replace the board anyway.
