My Ring doorbell rings and no one is there or in the area of the bell.
My ring doorbell goes off at various times during the day and yet it does not show anyone.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Hi Gloria,
Apparently you're far from being alone in this issue of false alerts; there's a whole thread over at a Ring community forum dedicated to just that topic.
Anyone having false alerts recently? - Ring Community
The members did finally get a response from Ring itself, and here's what they had to say.
I would highly suggest reviewing your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articl...) and motion settings to ensure everything is set to your liking. There are various different things that can cause motion to be detected, such as reflective surfaces in your Doorbell's view or extreme weather conditions. Everyone's home environment will differ, so there is not a single answer that works for everyone. It may take some trial and error to find what combination of motion settings works the best for your home.
