replacement battery not charging - only 1 month old

Hi.

My battery was dying so i got a replacement one for my Dell XPS 15 9560. I installed it and followed the instructions about a full charge and then letting it run down to 0. Then to charge it fully. It worked fine last month. I just tried to turn it on and it will not work.

I took the back off and unplugged it. Held the power button for over 30 seconds, then reconnected it and tried charging it again.... No luck.

Is there something else I can try? Thanks.

@mnez could be a bad battery but you have not told us if your laptop works with the AC adapter. You mentioned that "I just tried to turn it on and it will not work" but not if you just tried it on battery power alone.

If it does indeed work with the AC adapter then the issue is probably a bad battery. Contact the seller an see if you have some kind of warrantee on it. If your laptop does not work with the power adapter, then the issue may be totally unrelated to the battery. In that case it may not get charged because it does not receive any power
