Why is it not turning on but only showing red lightning

@kadafimotingwa that lighting bolt means that your phone has a very low battery or is completely dead. The very first thing you want to do is to charge your phone, IF it does not charge then the issue could be a bad battery, a bad charging board or even a bad charger/cable. Check that first. Clean your charging port with a few puffs of compressed air. If that still does not work, replace the battery and re-evaluate.

If your phone has other issues then having to replace the battery, you need to be more specific with your question.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
