MyS23 while connecting to a cable for charging shows a message that it has moisture or foreign material in the charging / USB port.

Start with cleaning your charging port. Use 90% or higher concentration isopropyl alcohol, an eyeglass cloth and a thin, non-metallic pick such as a toothpick to clean the inside of the port. Examine it carefully with a magnifying glass, ensuring it's sparkling clean.
Be sure you try another charger and cord, as defective parts can also cause that message.
If none of the above helps, you may have to replace the charging port. Like most Samsung phones, your charging port is mounted on a separate daughter card that is (relatively) easy to replace and usually inexpensive. iFixit has a guide giving you step by step instructions on how to do that yourself.

A cursory search turned up many suppliers who carry that part, including AliExpress and eBay; choose one that suits your price and availability requirements.
