Inverter/ Rear Bezel Access?
Is it possible to get to the inverter or remove the rear bezel without starting from the battery step?

No--to protect the unit from damage all power must be removed before working on the computer. As to the other steps I have found that following the steps all the way through helps prevent damage to the computer--especially the first time. Ralph

rj is correct. Besides, there is no way around it, you must follow all steps.
