My laptop is not turning on and heating.

My hp 257 g8 notebook is not turning on and it's storage light is not turning on and power light blinks every 4 second. I have checked its ram by opening it but the ram is ok I guess as I have tried it in diff socket the processor is heating a lot and fan turns on but automatically turns off every 5 second

This happened with my HP desktop, the issue ended up being on the motherboard, it was the cooler fan. Causing the motherboard to overheat and not turn on for more than a couple seconds and only the light blinked but would never turn on. You can buy a better fan for it as HP tends to not put the best quality fan on the motherboard to begin with.
