It only shows white. Music still plays, buttons still pause/play and navigate menus, it's just a lot harder to tell what I'm doing, since the screen is completely blank. Plugging into computer doesn't help, reset hole didn't work.

@fatfred the backlight circuitry and the video circuitry are separate. Since it still shows white you know that the backlight is working, but since it does not display anything else, this is most likely a failed LCD display. Time to change the display.
There are no specific guides for this but this AGPTEK A02 Teardown will at least get you into your AGPTEK.
While you work on your MP3 player, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
