Disk drive motor not spinning.
Ive got a ps2 where the disc drive doesn't spin. Laser works, moves does everything it needs to when the lid switches are held down. I took the disk drive from a unit of the same model 75001 which would read discs, but had a bad AV out. Ive cleaned the laser, resoldered the joints, and cleaned/lubed the rails. Is there a separate chip/module that controls the motor that could be bad on the board? If so where would it be at and where would I get a new one?
