Then you'll have to do some guess work with how to replace the motherboard, taking off screws and fragile connectors. But it is a start at least.

Ummm... it really depends on what needs repaired. Do you know? If so, that would help. And do you know what broke it? If it's water damage, you'd probably be better off replacing the motherboard. Otherwise, you might be able to replace a component, but again, that depends on what's broken.
