Does the system even turn on? When you lift the display up are you greeted with the red dead battery icon. There will be a point that may not show up.
Can you give us a bit more on what happened, did you drop or bang the system, have a liquid spill have a lightning storm or power outage which the system was plugged into power or network or printer.
