Step 25 MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mitte 2014 Logic Board austauschen Track Pad Ribbon Cable. This should be available somewhere as a part but you need to get the correct part depending on your A1938 models year (2013-14 or 2015) as they are different, and you'll need to get out the battery before it has stuck down to long to install it.

@danj It this a 13" or 15" model and are 2012 different to 2013-14? & 2015, as we don't know the exact years model (He only 'thinks' it is, Maybe he's wrong ;)
@livfe - This is clearly a 2012/13 15" system. Just compare the battery guides between the 13" and 15" models the early 12/13 13" used the middle to hold the SSD drive Vs two battery cells in the 15" model.
As far as model year comparing the logic board that's visible in his images and the 12/e13 is the system as such this is the needed cable.
@danj Yes you are right, I learned something today :) Are the 2012-14 models parts identical as I know the 2015 used a unique display, I have only ever possessed a 2015 15".
